Warri 2027: Sheriff Mulade Thanks Electorates, Vows People-Centered Leadership After NDC Victory

Chief (Comrade) Sheriff Mulade, PhD, has expressed gratitude to God, party delegates, supporters, and stakeholders following his emergence as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Warri Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming general election.

Speaking after his victory in the party’s primary election held in Delta State, Mulade described the outcome as a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust reposed in him by members of the party and the people of the constituency.

The renowned environmental rights advocate and peace campaigner stated that the mandate entrusted to him comes with enormous responsibility, assuring constituents that he would provide purposeful, responsive, and inclusive representation focused on addressing the developmental needs of the area.

According to him, the victory is not a personal achievement but a collective triumph for all residents of Warri Federal Constituency who believe in good governance, unity, equity, and sustainable development.

“I am sincerely grateful to God Almighty for this victory and deeply appreciate every delegate, supporter, party member, and well-wisher who contributed to this success. Your trust and confidence inspire me to remain committed to the service of our people,” Mulade said.

He further emphasized the need for unity among the constituent ethnic groups of the federal constituency, namely the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo people, stressing that lasting development can only be achieved through cooperation, mutual respect, and inclusive leadership.

Mulade noted that the outcome of the primary election reflects the desire of the people for grassroots-oriented leadership and a renewed commitment to tackling the challenges facing communities within the constituency.

He pledged to ensure that every community receives adequate attention and that the interests of all constituents are fairly represented.

This victory is dedicated to God Almighty and to the people of Warri Federal Constituency. It is a call to greater service and responsibility. I remain committed to building a constituency where every voice matters, every community is included, and every citizen has the opportunity to benefit from meaningful development,” he stated.

The NDC flagbearer also called on party members and supporters to remain united as preparations begin for the general election, noting that continued solidarity, commitment, and a shared vision would be critical to achieving victory at the polls.

He urged all stakeholders to work together in advancing the collective interests of Warri Federal Constituency and ensuring a brighter future for its people.
