Barr. Konstante Timi Olopele has emerged as the consensus candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 Ondo State House of Assembly election in Ese-Odo Constituency.
Olopele’s emergence followed the APM primary election held in Igbekebo on May 28, 2027, where party stakeholders unanimously endorsed his candidature. The exercise was reportedly conducted under the supervision of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking after his emergence, Olopele expressed gratitude to party leaders, members, and supporters for the confidence reposed in him, describing the endorsement as a demonstration of unity and shared commitment to the development of Ese-Odo Constituency.
He also acknowledged the role of the PDP-APM alliance in Ese-Odo, noting that the political collaboration provided the foundation for the consensus arrangement that produced him as the party’s standard-bearer for the election.
Political stakeholders have described his emergence as a significant development in the constituency’s political landscape, expressing optimism that the alliance will strengthen grassroots participation and promote issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2027 polls.
