Tinubu Deploys Four New Permanent Secretaries To Boost Governance

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the deployment of four newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across key sectors.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Eno Olotu, on behalf of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

According to the statement, the deployment aligns with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is aimed at enhancing effective policy implementation and inter-ministerial collaboration.

“The President has approved the deployment of four (4) Federal Permanent Secretaries, who were earlier appointed and sworn in,” the statement read.

It added that the appointments followed a competitive selection process and are expected to drive sustainable development across various sectors.

The officials and their postings are as follows:

Bekearedebo Warrens – Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Dr Kamil Shoretire – Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Nkiruka Jones-Nebo – Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

Sani Aminu – Special Services, Cabinet Affairs Office under the SGF.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and result-oriented leadership.

“Their posting is designed to optimise performance, foster inter-ministerial collaboration, and drive sustainable development across key sectors of the economy,” the statement noted.

She emphasised that the new Permanent Secretaries are expected to contribute meaningfully to the Federal Government’s developmental goals through efficient and effective service delivery.
