APC Concludes Ondo Reps Primaries, Releases Full Scores of Aspirants Across Nine Federal Constituencies

The All Progressives Congress has officially concluded its House of Representatives primary elections across the nine federal constituencies of Ondo State, releasing the full scores recorded by all aspirants who participated in the exercise.

Chairman of the Ondo State APC 2026 National Assembly Primary Election Committee, Iboroma Harry Dabibi, announced the results during a press briefing on Sunday, describing the exercise as peaceful, transparent and credible.

Dabibi said the committee successfully completed the first phase of its assignment as mandated by the party’s National Working Committee, noting that the conduct of the primaries reflected the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the committee arrived in Ondo State on May 15, 2026, with a clear mandate to conduct free, fair and credible elections in line with the party constitution and the 2026 Electoral Act.

He commended the leadership and members of the APC in Ondo State for maintaining peace and discipline throughout the exercise, stating that the orderly conduct of the primaries demonstrated political maturity within the party.

Oseni Oyeniyi – 118 votes

Ibrahim Moruf Tosin – 330 votes

Ifeoluwa Ehindero – 22,304 votes

The committee declared Ehindero winner after polling the highest number of votes cast.

Ondo West/Ondo East Federal Constituency

Bola Fisayo – 1,551 votes

Ade Adeniyi – 2,045 votes

Abiola Peter Makinde – 10,847 votes

Michael Akintomide – 593 votes

Jibayo Adeyeye – 0 votes

Makinde was returned elected after emerging with the highest votes.

Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency

Olumide Adekanle – 27 votes

Jimi Odimayo – 827 votes

Temitope Iwagun – 74 votes

Daramola Olumuyiwa  6,547 votes

Ikuyinminu Kehinde – 54 votes

Omoniyi Adewale Duyilemi – 195 votes

Bidemi Joshua Obayangban – 0 votes

Dele Omosehin – 623 votes

Olumuyiwa emerged winner after securing the highest votes.

Omowunmi Olatunji Ohwovoriole – 9,237 votes

Bamidele Ologunloluwa – 549 votes

Mayokun Lawson-Alade – 73 votes

Dennis Fadairo – 2,120 votes

Olu Akinola –  189 votes

Derin Adesida – 94 votes

Oluleye Ayodeji – 30 votes

Kolapo Olawale Fasoranti – 184 votes

Ohwovoriole was declared winner of the contest.

Akoko South East/Akoko South West Federal Constituency

Ategbole Olusegun Victor – 12,011 votes (invalidated over screening issues)

Ajongbolo Seun Oluwasina –  74 votes

Adefarati Gboyega – 1,865 votes

The committee ruled that votes recorded for Ategbole were invalid because he was not cleared by the screening committee. Consequently, Adefarati, who secured the highest valid votes, was declared winner.

Ayodeji Arowele Samuel – 9,690 votes (invalidated over screening issues)

Kayode Ijalana – 7,098 votes

Olatayo Aribo – 896 votes

Nuel Elehinde – 248 votes

Akingboye Akinleke David was declared winner after polling the highest number of votes.

Dabibi, while concluding the briefing, appealed to aggrieved aspirants and party members to embrace reconciliation and unity in the interest of the party.

He urged all stakeholders to work together toward ensuring victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC National Assembly candidates in Ondo State during the 2027 general elections.
