Icon-James Tam Obtains NDC Forms in Akure, Unveils Development Agenda for Ese-Odo
Comrade Icon-James Tam has officially obtained the National Democratic Congress (NDC) expression of interest and nomination forms at the party secretariat in Akure, formally declaring his ambition to contest for the Ese-Odo State House of Assembly seat.
Tam, an indigene of Ogidigba in the Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom, said his decision to join the race is driven by the urgent need to bring meaningful development and stronger representation to Ese-Odo Local Government Area.
Speaking after obtaining the forms, he pledged to pursue impactful projects across both Apoi and Arogbo communities, stressing that the people deserve better infrastructure, improved social amenities, and more grassroots-focused leadership.
He also maintained that the current political moment presents an opportunity for the Arogbo axis to take its place in the constituency’s leadership structure, insisting that fairness and balance must be respected.
The declaration has already generated conversations across Ese-Odo political circles, with observers describing his entry into the race as one that could reshape the political atmosphere ahead of the elections.
