APC Primaries: Donald Ojogo Secures Re-election Ticket, Kekemeke Clinches Senate Nomination
Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo and Dr. D.I. Kekemeke have emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly primary elections held in Ondo State.
Ojogo, the incumbent member representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, won the party’s primary election to secure the APC ticket for the House of Representatives, positioning him to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Also, Dr. D.I. Kekemeke won the APC senatorial primary for Ondo South Senatorial District, earning the party’s nomination to contest the senatorial seat in the forthcoming general elections.
The successful conclusion of the primary elections marks a significant step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 polls. With the emergence of its National Assembly candidates, the party is expected to intensify consultations and other activities ahead of the official campaign period in line with the timetable of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The primaries were concluded with the declaration of results, confirming Hon. Donald Ojogo and Dr. D.I. Kekemeke as the APC’s standard-bearers for the House of Representatives and Ondo South Senatorial District, respectively.
