Warri North Constituency II: Egbema Youths Beg Comr. Mingo Ogumaka to Contest Assembly Seat

Youth groups in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, have unanimously called on prominent Niger Delta youth leader, , to contest for the newly created Delta State House of Assembly seat for Warri North Constituency II.

The call was made during an emergency meeting convened by the Egbema New Political Wave following the release of the Warri Federal Constituency delineation exercise results by the . The meeting, presided over by former President of the Egbema Youth Council Worldwide, , described Comrade Mingo as a dependable, courageous, and selfless leader whose contributions toward the development, unity, and recognition of Egbema Kingdom have remained remarkable over the years. Addressing members during the gathering, the group urged Comrade Mingo to heed what they described as the growing demand from youths and stakeholders across the kingdom to represent Warri North Constituency II at the Delta State House of Assembly. According to the group, the youth leader has consistently demonstrated commitment and sacrifice in defending the interests of Egbema Kingdom and advocating for the rights of the people within and beyond the Niger Delta region. “Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka has continued to project the image of Egbema Kingdom through bold advocacy, purposeful leadership, and unwavering commitment to the people. His sacrifices, resilience, and passion for justice have earned him the trust and admiration of Egbema youths,” the statement read. The youths further stated that the newly created constituency presents a fresh opportunity for inclusive development, quality representation, and political balance within the area, noting that the newly created Asigborodor and Awanba federal wards deserve adequate political consideration and representation. They stressed that Comrade Mingo possesses the grassroots connection, leadership experience, and capacity required to effectively represent the interests of the people at the State Assembly. “We strongly believe that his emergence will bring purposeful leadership, visibility, and sustainable development to Warri North Constituency II. This is a collective call for service to our kingdom and our people,” the group added. The Egbema New Political Wave also commended the , , traditional rulers, political stakeholders, and youths of Egbema Kingdom for their sacrifices and contributions toward the successful conclusion of the Warri Federal Constituency delineation exercise. The group maintained that the appeal to Comrade Mingo was driven by the urgent need for credible, people-oriented, and accessible leadership capable of advancing the collective aspirations of the kingdom. They further appealed to political leaders, stakeholders, and youth organizations across Egbema Kingdom to unite behind the initiative in the interest of progress, unity, and future generations.
