The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has officially presented the final report on its sensitization workshop for the establishment of the Niger Delta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines, and Agriculture (NDCCITMA).
The workshop, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors, aimed to lay the foundation for a unified economic body that will drive investment, trade, and industrialization in the region. The report highlights key discussions, recommendations, and actionable steps toward the chamber’s formalization.
Presenting the report, an NDDC representative emphasized the chamber’s potential to stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and harness the vast resources of the Niger Delta. Stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders, and community representatives, commended the initiative and called for swift implementation.
The establishment of NDCCITMA aligns with the NDDC’s broader vision of fostering sustainable development in the region through economic empowerment and private sector collaboration.
