Outspoken Niger Delta Activist Calls for Completion of Abandoned Infrastructure Projects in Delta, Edo States
Outspoken Niger Delta activist and National President of the Niger Delta People’s Youth Leadership Forum (ND-PYLF), Chief Diplomat Amb. Adam E.O.O. Marbo, has called for urgent completion of abandoned infrastructure projects in parts of the Niger Delta region in a post on his Facebook handle.
In the statement, Marbo highlighted the “Gbaregolor Bridge” in Delta State and the “Udo Ofunama road project” in Edo State, urging relevant authorities to take immediate steps toward their completion.
He appealed to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to prioritise the completion of the Gbaregolor Bridge, while also calling on the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), High Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, to complete the abandoned Udo Ofunama road project.
Marbo further urged Niger Delta youths to intensify advocacy for infrastructural development and improved human capacity building across the region.
