Enforces Movement Restriction for April Sanitation Exercise
The Ondo State Government has announced that the April 2026 edition of its monthly environmental sanitation exercise will take place across the state on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
In an official notice issued by the Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Tob Loko, residents were informed that movement of persons and vehicles will be temporarily restricted between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. during the exercise.
According to the statement, the restriction is aimed at ensuring full compliance and active participation in the sanitation programme, which is designed to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.
Residents were urged to make use of the period to clean their surroundings, including clearing drainage channels, desilting gutters, removing refuse and debris, and trimming overgrown weeds.
The government emphasized its continued commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and disease-free environment, calling on citizens to cooperate fully with relevant authorities.
