Transit Accommodation: Army Commends Tantita for Donation to Nigerian Soldiers
The Nigerian Army has expressed appreciation to Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSL) for constructing and furnishing new Soldiers’ Transit Accommodation at the 3 Battalion in Effurun Barrack, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State. The facility, which boasts modern amenities, was commissioned by Major General Jamal Abdussalam, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division. Abdussalam praised Tantita Security and its leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, for their contribution to the welfare of army personnel.
In his speech, Abdussalam highlighted that the transit accommodation would boost the morale and performance of soldiers, contributing to the Nigerian Army’s mission to protect critical national assets and maintain order. He lauded the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff and called for similar projects in other military barracks within the region.
Engineer Keston Pondi, Managing Director of TSSL, represented by Captain Warredi Enisuoh, emphasized that the project was part of Tantita’s commitment to supporting military personnel and fostering a strong partnership with the Nigerian Army. He reiterated Tantita’s dedication to collaborating with security forces to combat crude oil theft and other illegal activities in the area.
Local officials, including Uvwie Local Government Chairman Chief Anthony Ofoni and 3 Battalion Commander Major E. Onoja, also expressed gratitude, noting that the project would enhance military operations in the region.
