OSOPADEC Opens 2024/2025 Bursary and Scholarship Applications for Ilaje and Ese-Odo Students

The has announced the commencement of applications for its 2024/2025 bursary and scholarship scheme, targeting eligible students from oil-producing communities in Ondo State.

In a statement released by the Commission, students who are indigenes of and Local Government Areas are invited to apply for the educational support programme.

According to the guidelines, applicants must be full-time students enrolled in accredited public or private tertiary institutions across Nigeria for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those attending Law School, are eligible, provided their studentship is duly verified by their respective institutions.

However, the Commission noted that part-time, sandwich, pre-degree, NTI, and diploma students, as well as those attending unaccredited institutions, are not qualified to apply for the scheme.

Applicants are required to complete their registration online and upload necessary documents, including a recent passport photograph, certificate of local government origin, JAMB admission letter, school fees receipt for the current academic session, and a valid student identity card.

The Commission emphasized that applicants must print out their registration slips after submission. The slips are to be signed and stamped by the Dean of Student Affairs or the Head of Department, and subsequently uploaded to complete the application process.

OSOPADEC also cautioned that no changes to bank details will be permitted after submission.
