The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro.

Yesiro reportedly passed away barely 24 hours after he was re-elected into the party’s State Executive Committee during the Lagos State congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium.

The shocking development has left party members and supporters in grief, as the late APC chieftain had just secured a renewed mandate to continue serving in the party’s leadership structure.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Seye Oladejo, described the loss as tragic and painful for the party.

According to Oladejo, Yesiro’s death came at a time when his dedication, energy, and passion for progressive politics were most needed.

He noted that the deceased had only just been entrusted with the responsibility of serving again in the party’s State Executive Council when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Oladejo further described the late party official as a committed and loyal member who strongly believed in the ideals and vision of the APC.

He added that although Yesiro’s tenure was abruptly cut short, he left behind a legacy of humility, dedication, and willingness to serve both the party and its members.

The Lagos APC leadership and members have since expressed deep sorrow over the sudden loss, describing the late official as a dependable party figure whose contributions would be remembered.

The party also extended its condolences to the family, friends, political associates, and supporters of the deceased, praying for strength for them during the difficult period.
