Hon. Maxwell Gabriel Morris Urges Nigerian Youths to Reconsider Nationwide Protest

Published

on

Hon. Maxwell Gabriel Morris calls on all Nigerian youths from North to South, East to West, to reconsider and shelve the proposed nationwide protest. Our country has already endured the devastating consequences of unrest during the EndSARS protests, which escalated into violence and chaos, affecting countless lives and properties.

We must learn from the past to avoid repeating such painful experiences. While the EndSARS movement was rooted in legitimate concerns, it unfortunately resulted in widespread violence that disrupted our nation’s peace and stability. We cannot afford to see another young Nigerian injured or worse due to avoidable clashes.

Our strength lies in unity and our ability to voice concerns through peaceful and constructive means. We have the power to bring about change without resorting to actions that endanger lives. Dialogue, advocacy, and collaboration with relevant authorities can yield more sustainable and positive outcomes.

Let’s channel our energy and passion into avenues that will lead to lasting solutions. Engage with community leaders, participate in town hall meetings, and use social media responsibly to spread awareness and push for the changes we desire. Together, we can build a better future for ourselves and future generations.

I understand the frustrations and desire for immediate action, but we must not let emotions drive us toward decisions that could result in unintended harm. The safety and well-being of every Nigerian youth should be our paramount concern.

Please, let us seek peace and pursue it. Our nation needs our collective efforts to thrive, and we must rise above the challenges with wisdom and resilience. Together, we can create a brighter and more prosperous Nigeria.
