Two young Ijaw performers, known as Little Miss Testimony and Little Miss Faith, are set to receive educational support covering their schooling from primary level through university following a scholarship award by Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, representing Burutu Federal Constituency.
The scholarship was announced after Pondi received members of the Smooth Musical Organization at his residence, where the young performers were recognised for their involvement in music, dance and the promotion of Ijaw cultural heritage.
The development offers the two girls an opportunity to combine their artistic interests with formal education, extending their prospects beyond cultural performances.
Pondi also commended Chief Barrister Smooth, who has been involved in identifying and nurturing young talents within the organisation.
