Air Peace has addressed reports claiming that one of its flights from Akure to Abuja experienced a windshield crack that caused panic among passengers. The airline clarified that the flight was smooth and landed safely without any incidents.
According to their statement, a crack was found in the outer layer of the First Officer’s side windshield, which was identified by the crew and promptly replaced upon landing at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport. The airline emphasized that there was no risk to passenger safety during the flight.
They condemned the spread of false information aimed at damaging the airline’s reputation, asserting that there was no panic during the flight and that Air Peace remains committed to maintaining the highest safety standards for its passengers.
