Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has joined the team in Uyo for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda. His delayed arrival was due to finalizing his transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray.
Osimhen arrived on Thursday and immediately began training with his teammates in preparation for Saturday’s match. He is expected to lead the attack for Austin Eguavoen’s squad, with other forward options including Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi, and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.
With his arrival, all 23 invited players are now present at the camp.
