“Empowering Youths: PAP Boss Lauds Tinubu’s Administration, Unveils Scheme to Empower 1,000 Youths and Expand
Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the helmsman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has showered accolades on President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a leader who has etched the welfare of young Nigerians into the fabric of his administration. At a recent gathering in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Otuaro urged the Niger Delta region to embrace Tinubu’s presidency, citing his appointments and policies as a testament to his love for the area.
According to Otuaro, Tinubu’s administration is a breath of fresh air for young people, offering a plethora of opportunities for growth and development. He emphasized that the President’s initiatives are designed to revitalize the economy and accelerate progress in the Niger Delta, and encouraged youths to be patient and supportive of these efforts.
“Tinubu’s government is a shining example of youth-centric leadership… Let us rally behind him and give his policies a chance to bear fruit. We must not allow anyone to drag us back into the dark days of neglect and abandonment,” Otuaro exclaimed.
The PAP boss highlighted several groundbreaking initiatives, including a scheme to empower over 1,000 youths this year, an expansion of the scholarship program to benefit 500 more students, and a women-focused stakeholders’ policy that prioritizes their needs and aspirations.
Otuaro also announced plans for a women’s summit, where female leaders from across the Niger Delta will gather to articulate their concerns and contribute to the region’s development.
The event was attended by a galaxy of dignitaries, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, and other prominent stakeholders.
In his remarks, Otuaro praised the NDDC for organizing the sensitization meeting and pledged PAP’s commitment to collaborating with the agency to drive positive change in the region. He reiterated his call for peace and security in the Niger Delta, urging youths to reject the proposed national protests and instead embrace Tinubu’s vision for a brighter future.
