JUST IN: NDDC Boss Appoints Arogbo Son as Special Assistant on Community Relations

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has appointed Alabor Dickson Soweigha Williams, an indigene of Arogbo Kingdom in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, as Special Assistant on Community Relations.

The appointment, conveyed in a letter dated June 24, 2026, takes retrospective effect from June 1, 2026. Williams will serve on Salary Grade Level (SGL) 16, Step 4, in accordance with the Commission’s conditions of service.

In his new role, Williams is expected to support the office of the Managing Director/CEO in strengthening engagement with host communities, fostering productive stakeholder relationships, and advancing the Commission’s community development objectives across the Niger Delta.

The appointment is regarded as a significant addition to the Commission’s community relations team and reflects its continued commitment to improving collaboration with communities within the region.
