A 30-year-old House of Representatives aspirant, Muhammad Sadis Buba, has successfully completed his screening process to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in Kaduna State.
Buba’s emergence has continued to attract attention, not only because of his age but also because he is living with dwarfism, a condition that has not stopped him from pursuing his political ambition and participating actively in the democratic process.
Speaking after the screening, Buba expressed confidence in his aspiration and emphasized the importance of inclusion and equal representation in Nigerian politics.
According to him, “Physical condition should never be a barrier to leadership, service, or the desire to contribute positively to society.”
Supporters and observers have described his participation as a significant step toward greater inclusivity in the nation’s political landscape, noting that his determination could inspire many young Nigerians and persons living with disabilities.
Political analysts also say Buba’s candidacy reflects the growing involvement of youths and underrepresented groups in governance and leadership across the country.
The House of Representatives race in Kaduna State is expected to attract considerable public interest as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the elections.
