To God Almighty be all glory, honour and thanksgiving for His abiding grace, strength and comfort granted to us throughout the funeral rites of our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and matriarch, Late Mama Keketobou Jane Kuku (Nee Gbamila). The obsequies, held from Friday, 20th February to Sunday, 22nd February, 2026, were conducted with dignity, reverence and profound gratitude for a life well lived.
On behalf of the entire Kuku and Gbamila families of Arogbo and Ajapa communities respectively, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who stood with us—in prayer, in presence, and in generous support—during this solemn yet celebratory transition. Your solidarity and expressions of compassion were deeply comforting and will remain indelible in our hearts.
We convey our special and respectful gratitude to His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State and Governor-General of the Ijaw Nation, for the distinguished honour of his presence, his fatherly encouragement, and the goodwill extended to our family. Your Excellency’s support added remarkable dignity and prestige to the ceremonies, and we remain sincerely grateful.
We also wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation:

• Clergy and church leaders for their spiritual guidance and ministration
• Artistes and cultural troupes whose performances enriched the ceremonies
• Members of the media for their professionalism and comprehensive coverage
• Security agencies for ensuring peace and order throughout the events

• Friends, associates, community leaders and well-wishers who travelled from near and far
• All who sent condolence messages, floral tributes, prayers and financial contributions
Your kindness, unity and unwavering support strengthened us immeasurably and reaffirmed the enduring bonds of family, friendship and community.
We pray that the Almighty God will graciously reward and replenish you, grant you good health, long life and prosperity, and surround you with helpers in your own times of need.
May the gentle soul of our beloved Mama continue to rest in perfect peace.
With sincere gratitude and warm regards,
Signed:
