Bayelsa Gov. Diri Orders Autopsy on Late Deputy Governor Ewhrudjakpo
The Bayelsa State Government has ordered a full autopsy on the remains of the late Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, following his sudden demise.
Governor Douye Diri gave the directive on [date], stating that the decision was taken in the interest of transparency, accountability, and to clear all doubts surrounding the circumstances of the Deputy Governor’s death. The governor noted that the autopsy would be conducted by qualified medical experts in line with standard procedures.
In a brief statement issued by the state government, Governor Diri described the late Ewhrudjakpo as a loyal partner in governance, a committed public servant, and a man who dedicated his life to the service of Bayelsa State and Nigeria at large.
