It is with profound sorrow, yet unshakable faith in the sovereignty of God, that we announce the glorious transition of Mama Asetu Fufeyin, the beloved mother of Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, General Overseer of Christ Land Deliverance Ministry, headquartered in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Born in May 1921, Mama Asetu Fufeyin lived a life marked by unwavering faith, extraordinary resilience, and a rare depth of wisdom. She passed into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9th, 2025, at the glorious age of 104 years.

Mama Asetu was more than a mother; she was a pillar of strength, a fountain of wisdom, a woman of virtue whose quiet but unyielding influence gave rise to generations of spiritual giants. She was a beacon of love, prayer, and uncompromising godliness in her community and home. Her life bore fruit not only in her biological children but in the countless spiritual sons and daughters who now mourn her with reverent gratitude.

Among her surviving children is Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, a mighty vessel in God’s hands and a towering figure in the global Christian faith. Her legacy is made manifest in his life and ministry—a testament to the godly seed she planted and nurtured over decades with patience, sacrifice, and fervent intercession.

As a ministry and as a people, we are devastated by this loss—but not without hope. We know that Mama Asetu Fufeyin has finished her race and is now resting in the bosom of the Almighty, having fought a good fight and kept the faith. Her departure is heaven’s gain and earth’s moment of solemn reflection.

The entire body of Christ Land Deliverance Ministry joins the Fufeyin family, the saints in Warri, Delta State, and believers around the world in mourning this colossal loss. We urge the faithful everywhere to lift up our General Overseer and the family in prayers during this time of grief and holy remembrance.

Indeed, a giant oak has fallen. A matriarch has ascended. A legacy has been sealed in glory.

Rest well, Mama Asetu Fufeyin. You lived, you loved, and you conquered.
