“I am honoured to be entrusted with this responsibility. The plight of unemployed youths in Nigeria is one that requires urgent attention, and SWUYN has been at the forefront of addressing these challenges. As chairman, I will ensure that we expand our initiatives, strengthen our partnerships, and create more opportunities for skill acquisition and entrepreneurship,” he stated.
Doso further emphasised the importance of collaboration with government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and community leaders to enhance SWUYN’s impact. He urged unemployed youths to engage actively in the organisation’s programmes, assuring them of innovative solutions to economic hardship.
“Together, we can build a future where every young person has the tools and support needed to succeed. SWUYN will continue to advocate for policies and programmes that uplift our youths and drive sustainable development,” he concluded.
During a phone interview, Doso, who hails from the ancient town of Arogbo, reiterated his vision for the organisation. He highlighted the need for strategic interventions in skill development, youth empowerment, and partnership-building to create sustainable solutions for unemployment in Ondo State and beyond.
Under Doso’s leadership, SWUYN aims to intensify its efforts in empowering Nigerian youths through education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.
