Hon. Donald Ojogo, member representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives paid a courtesy visit to His Imperial Majesty, Pere Zaccheus Doubra Egbunu Esq., the paramount ruler of the Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom.

The visit, described as part of Hon. Ojogo’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties within his constituency, was marked by traditional rites as His Imperial Majesty warmly received Ojogo and his entourage. In his remarks, Hon. Ojogo expressed profound gratitude to the monarch for his leadership and blessings, highlighting the importance of starting the new year with a visit to the revered king.

Hon. Ojogo stated, “This visit is not only a tradition but also a re-affirmation of my commitment to fostering unity and development in our constituency.”

The event was graced by notable personalities, including the Ondo State Liaison Office Head, General Sylvester Sofiyegha Ayebi, His Royal Highness Feku, the Tarabiritorhu of Arogbo, and High Chief Japhet Ibori, the Agwo of Agwobiri, among other prominent traditional leaders.

In his address, His Imperial Majesty Pere Zaccheus Doubra Egbunu Esq. commended Hon. Ojogo for his dedication to the well-being of the people of Ese-Odo and Ilaje, emphasising the need for continued collaboration to achieve sustainable development in the region.

The visit reflects Hon. Ojogo’s commitment to maintaining strong relationships with traditional institutions and ensuring that the voices of the people are represented at all levels of governance.
