Aiyedatiwa will bring more development _ Ondo lawmaker
Biola Oladapo, a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ondo West Constituency 2, has expressed confidence that the re-election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will foster further development in the state. Speaking in Akure on Monday, Oladapo praised Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, attributing his electoral success to a strong record of developmental achievements during his time in office.
Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, was declared the winner of the gubernatorial election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after securing 366,781 votes, defeating 16 other candidates.

Oladapo highlighted the governor’s progress over the past 10 months, particularly in infrastructure, and described him as the most qualified candidate for the role of governor. He stated, “Governor Aiyedatiwa has clearly demonstrated that he is the best choice for the state’s leadership.”
He also commended Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to transforming Ondo State, emphasizing the governor’s focus on key areas such as healthcare, social welfare, security, human capacity development, agriculture, economic growth, and youth and sports development. Oladapo assured the public that the governor would fulfill his campaign promises.
In his congratulatory message, Oladapo assured that Aiyedatiwa would continue to receive strong support from all stakeholders in the state, adding, “We will work together to realize the people’s aspirations for Ondo State.”
Aiyedatiwa is scheduled to be inaugurated for his second term on February 24, 2025.
