Mulade Celebrates Chief Dr. Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark At 97th birthday

Renowned Niger Delta, environmental activist and peace development advocate, Chief Sheriff Mulade, has felicitated with Senator Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark on his 97th Birth anniversary

He described Clark as a living legend, mentor, and dependable voice in Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

The Ibe-Serimowei of ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, said Niger Delta would have still been in tumult if not for the critical roles play by Pa Clark for appealing with the agitators to embrace peace in the Southern, Nigeria.

While describing Chief Clark as indomitable lion of Niger Delta, he said Clarks determination, dedication and selfless sacrifices in advocating for the emancipation of Niger Delta can’t be overemphasised

However, Clark was born on May 25, 1927. He is a Nigerian Elderstatesman, Ijaw National Leader, and a politician from Delta State.

He worked with the administrations of military governor Samuel Ogbemudia and head of state, General Yakubu Gowon between 1966 and 1975.

Consequently, he was an unofficial advisor to former President Goodluck Jonathan. He is a father to many, a philanthropist who founded the Edwin Clark Foundation and the famous Edwin Clark University of reputation in his hometown in Burutu local government area of Delta State.
