Fire outbreak claims life of ex-registrar’s wife
It was learned that the spouse, wife, and two additional female family members had perished in the tragic event. tragedy happened in Maiduguri, Borno State, when Mallam Garba Bala Abubakar, the former chief registrar of the Borno Cooperatives Society, and his wife and two other family members perished in a fire event at a home on Damboa Road.
A family source has revealed, that the incident happened early on Sunday. The deceased’s buddy, who posted the news on Facebook, called Abubakar a “very humble” and “down-to-earth” individual. He added that Abubakar lost close ones in his own family as well. An electrical surge is thought to have started the home fire.
“The deceased worked for a private borehole drilling company after retiring from the Borno State Government as the Chief Registrar of Cooperative Societies.”
