Tinubu to visit Equatorial Guinea

On President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo’s invitation, President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

President Tinubu will meet with his counterpart from Equatorial Guinea at the Presidential Villa upon arrival, according to a statement released on Tuesday by the president’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.

During their meetings, the two leaders will sign agreements, mainly on security and oil and gas.

Along for the ride will be the president, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a few members of his cabinet, who will be signing agreements and looking over ways to strengthen connections between the two countries.
