Fresh Hope for PAP Beneficiaries as Otuaro Hosts Top UK University Officials
The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro, on Wednesday received a delegation from Anglia Ruskin University at the Programme’s headquarters in Abuja as part of efforts to strengthen existing educational partnerships for beneficiaries.
The delegation was led by the university’s Regional Director for Africa, Dr Nana Adom. Other members of the team included Senior Admissions Manager, Eve Flower, and Country Manager for Nigeria, Linda Ayodele.
The visit underscored the growing collaboration between the Presidential Amnesty Programme and Anglia Ruskin University, one of the United Kingdom institutions partnering with the PAP to provide academic opportunities for beneficiaries of the programme.
Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening the partnership and exploring avenues for expanding access to quality education, professional development and capacity-building initiatives for Niger Delta youths under the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
The engagement is expected to further consolidate the PAP’s educational empowerment agenda, which remains one of the key pillars of the current administration under Dr. Otuaro, aimed at equipping beneficiaries with globally competitive knowledge and skills.
The visit also reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing human capital development through sustainable international academic collaboration.
