150 Delegates to Decide as Ondo NDC Holds State Congress
The Ondo State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to hold its State Congress on Monday, May 4, 2026, as part of the party’s internal democratic process.
According to a press statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Owolola Adebola, the congress will take place at the Royal Birds Hotel and Towers, Alagbaka, in Akure, the state capital, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon.
The party disclosed that about 150 delegates drawn from the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State are expected to participate in the exercise, which is aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and leadership within the state.
The statement also commended party members and stakeholders for their cooperation and dedication, noting that their collective efforts ensured the smooth and peaceful conduct of the recently concluded Ward and Local Government Congresses.
The upcoming State Congress is seen as a critical step in consolidating the party’s presence and preparing for future political engagements in the state.
