The Ojuala town in Apoi Ward 1, is witnessing a dramatic turnaround as the executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, High Chief (Hon) Ebimobowei Molos, spearheads an ambitious road grading project aimed at reshaping the public utilities.

The LGA’s Works Department has mobilized machinery to level and grade township roads, a move expected to ease traffic, boost commerce, and improve daily life for residents.

Officials describe the initiative as a concrete demonstration of the Chairman’s commitment to bringing development to even the most rural corners of Ese-Odo.

During the works, the team paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of His Royal Majesty Oba Charles Olajide, the Lebu of Ojuala, reinforcing collaboration between civic and traditional authorities.

The monarch hailed the project, saying: “We are deeply grateful for this development. Well-graded roads will not only make movement easier but also attract investments and spur growth in Ojuala.”

Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Mr. Denis Pounah, made this available to newsmen, stressing the long-term vision behind the initiative: “The grading of township roads across Ese-Odo is a continuous project that will eventually touch every town and village, ensuring equitable infrastructure development throughout the LGA.”

Residents are optimistic that the ongoing upgrades will catalyze broader socio-economic growth in Ojuala and surrounding communities, turning dusty lanes into pathways for prosperity.
