Two Years On: Seigha Hails Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro’s Commitment to Development in the Niger Delta
Chief Dogood Seigha, the Pere Gawei I of Tubutoru Kingdom, and his family have joined numerous admirers and stakeholders in celebrating Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D, Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), on the occasion of his two years in office.
He noted that within the period, Chief Otuaro had demonstrated purposeful leadership that had inspired transformation within the programme. According to him, the Amnesty Programme had recorded significant progress under Otuaro’s leadership, particularly through initiatives that expanded educational and scholarship opportunities for youths of the Niger Delta.
Seigha further stated that Otuaro’s leadership style, which emphasised inclusiveness, consultation, and strategic engagement, had strengthened confidence in the programme and contributed to sustaining peace and stability in the region. He added that the administration had reflected fairness, innovation, and commitment to the collective development of the Ijaw and wider Niger Delta communities.
