In a decisive step to inject new energy and vision into the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of a new board, signaling a bold direction for development in the oil-producing zones of the state.

Leading the new board is Prince Biyi Olaleye Poroye, who has been named Executive Chairman, entrusted with the task of repositioning OSOPADEC as a frontline engine of transformation in the mandate areas.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, described the appointments as “critical to the full realization of our OUR EASE Agenda, with a renewed focus on transparency, efficiency, and results-driven leadership.”

The full board composition is as follows:

The Governor charged the new leadership to waste no time in delivering measurable impact to the oil-producing communities, stressing that the days of bureaucracy without results are over.” This board must not only build on what has been done, it must surpass it. Our people deserve visible development, not excuses. OSOPADEC must become the gold standard of impact governance,” Aiyedatiwa declared.

The appointments come at a crucial moment as Ondo State intensifies efforts to improve infrastructure, youth empowerment, and environmental restoration in its oil-rich localities.

With this strategic overhaul, expectations are high that OSOPADEC under Prince Poroye will deliver bold reforms and bring long-awaited dividends to the people of the mandate areas.
