Ondo City, May 29, 2025, In a bold declaration of purposeful leadership and people-focused governance, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa stormed into his 100th day in office with the commissioning of the fully rebuilt Hospital-NCI Road, Lisaluwa, Ondo Town, a long-neglected lifeline now reborn under his administration.

With energy, clarity, and a sense of urgency, Governor Aiyedatiwa declared to the cheering crowd:

This is not just a road. This is a critical lifeline. An artery to survival. A symbol that Ondo State is no longer crawling, we are marching forward with purpose and precision!”

The newly rehabilitated and asphalted road, which links key health institutions in Ondo City, is already being hailed by residents as a game-changer, especially for patients and emergency responders who rely on that route daily.

The Governor made it crystal clear that this is only the beginning. We are not here to decorate offices or recycle promises. The Hospital Road project is a strategic investment as it’s planned, executed, and delivered to serve the real needs of our people. That’s what leadership means.”

Describing the project as a cornerstone of his 100-day scorecard, Governor Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed that his government is fully aligned with the “OUR EASE” Agenda and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision, both frameworks designed to deliver results, not rhetoric. Guided by our OUR EASE Agenda and Mr. President’s Renewed Hope blueprint, we are pursuing projects that speak directly to the lives of our people. Hospital Road is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. It’s a statement that this government listens, acts, and delivers.”

He further noted the strategic economic and social value of the road: This road connects not just homes, but hopes and from here, we move forward. Stronger. Faster. Better.”

The Governor’s decision to lead his 100-day celebration with a road that touches lives quite literally and has sent a clear message across Ondo State: this administration is here to work, not to play politics.

As the sun sets on his first 100 days, the new dawn of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership rises over a reawakened Ondo — one road, one project, and one bold decision at a time.
