Army Personnel Dismissed For Criminal Conduct

The Nigerian Army has discharged Lance Corporal Samuel Emmanuel following allegations of his involvement in armed robbery.

According to sources, Emmanuel was recently apprehended in connection with the crime, and his dismissal was confirmed after a court martial held at the 16 Brigade Garrison earlier in the week.

An internal military memo stated: “Lance Corporal Samuel Emmanuel, who was attached to the 16 Brigade Garrison, has been dismissed from service due to his role in an armed robbery case. Following a detailed investigation and court proceedings, he was found guilty and removed from the Regiment.”

The statement emphasized the Army’s strict stance against misconduct and criminal activity, highlighting that all soldiers are expected to demonstrate discipline, integrity, and professionalism at all times.

Following his dismissal, Emmanuel has been transferred to the police for further legal proceedings.
