The Egbema Focus Group (EFG), a prominent organization representing the sons and daughters of Egbema from Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Imo States, has expressed its strong support for the vital role of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in safeguarding Nigeria’s oil infrastructure. In a statement issued by the group’s National Coordinator, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka, EFG recognized Tantita Security Services as a cornerstone of progress for the Niger Delta. Comrade Mingo highlighted the company’s significant contributions to reducing illegal crude oil bunkering, saving Nigeria billions of naira and preventing environmental destruction that affects local communities dependent on the region’s aquatic ecosystems.
“Tantita Security Services has gone far beyond its original scope of work,” Comrade Mingo noted. “Their initiatives have ensured the security of Nigeria’s oil pipelines, preserved the environment, and created numerous employment opportunities. This is a clear example of how national progress can be achieved through committed leadership.”
He further emphasized that the establishment of Tantita Security Services is not just a win for the Niger Delta but for the entire nation. By addressing key environmental and security concerns, the company has significantly contributed to Nigeria’s economic stability and ecological preservation.
In a critical move, the Egbema Focus Group also condemned those who are opposing the efforts of Tantita Security Services, labeling them as “enemies of national progress.” Comrade Mingo accused these individuals and groups of being motivated by personal interests linked to illegal oil operations, arguing that their actions undermine national efforts to safeguard Nigeria’s resources and impede the country’s growth.
“Those calling for the dismantling of Tantita Security Services are simply protecting their illegal enterprises,” he asserted. “Their opposition does not benefit the Niger Delta or Nigeria. Instead, it obstructs our collective pursuit of a prosperous future.”
The Egbema Focus Group reiterated its strong endorsement of Tantita Security Services and urged the Federal Government, other stakeholders, and the public to recognize and support the company’s outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s development.
