In a bold and unprecedented move, Wema Bank handed over its top leadership seat to 12-year-old Chiderije Mbah, appointing her as Managing Director/CEO for a day in celebration of Children’s Day and the bank’s 80th anniversary.

Welcoming her to the executive suite, Wema Bank’s real-life MD/CEO, Mr. Moruf Oseni, described the moment as “nothing short of inspirational.”
