Two Years of Purposeful leadership: Chief Dogood Seigha Celebrates Dr. Dennis Otuaro
Chief Dogood Seigha, the Pere Gawei I of Tubutoru Kingdom, has congratulated High Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), on the occasion of his two years in office, describing his tenure as one marked by purposeful leadership and transformative impact.
In a goodwill message released to mark the milestone, Chief Seigha said he joined family members, admirers, and well-meaning stakeholders across the Niger Delta in celebrating what he described as a remarkable period of service and commitment to the development of the region.
According to the chief, Dr. Otuaro’s leadership has brought renewed direction to the Presidential Amnesty Programme, with initiatives that have significantly expanded opportunities for youths in the Niger Delta, particularly through educational and scholarship interventions designed to equip young people with the knowledge and skills required for productive and self-reliant lives.
He noted that the programme has witnessed notable progress within the past two years, adding that Dr. Otuaro’s approach to governance anchored on inclusiveness, consultation, and strategic engagement has strengthened public confidence in the Amnesty Programme while contributing to the consolidation of peace and stability across the region.
Chief Seigha further commended the Administrator’s commitment to fairness, innovation, and the collective progress of Ijaw communities and the broader Niger Delta.
“As you commemorate this significant milestone of two years of dedicated service, I commend your resilience, foresight, and unwavering commitment to advancing the objectives of the Presidential Amnesty Programme,” he stated.
The chief also offered prayers for continued wisdom and protection for Dr. Otuaro, expressing hope that the years ahead would usher in even greater accomplishments for the benefit of the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.
Dr. Otuaro assumed office as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme with a mandate to strengthen the initiative established to sustain peace, stability, and development in the oil-rich Niger Delta region.
