Trump Vows to End Global Crises

In a notable address at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, former President Donald Trump vowed to resolve international crises and reassert American global dominance if re-elected. He promised to end ongoing wars and restore the U.S.’s reputation, claiming he could “stop wars with a telephone call.” Trump criticized President Joe Biden, blaming him for global conflicts and painting a grim picture of current world affairs, including tensions in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Trump pledged to end the war between Russia and Ukraine and suggested building a U.S. version of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, despite its design limitations for short-range threats. He also called for the return of Americans held abroad, warning of severe consequences if they are not released. Additionally, Trump highlighted his past relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, implying that Kim would welcome his return to the White House.
