Yesterday, at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja, the Niger Delta’s unique breeds had the honour of attending a Day of Tribute Event paying homage to the late Niger Delta Patriarch and unapologetic nationalist, Chief (Dr) Senator Edwin Kiagboodo Clark. The event drew distinguished guests and dignitaries, including, but not limited to Barr. Wilson Ajuwa, Amazon Annkio Briggs, Hon. Kingsley Kemebradigha Kuku Ph.D, Barr. Mike Igini and just to mention but a few.
This epoch making gathering celebrated the life and legacy of Chief Clark, a stalwart advocate for Niger Delta rights and development. The event is symbolically historical as it re-affirmed rhe enduring impact on Nigerian history and the region’s struggle for self-determination and resource control.
