President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) under the Ministry of Aviation.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. In addition to Ganduje, President Tinubu approved the appointment of chairpersons for 41 federal agencies and institutions across various sectors. Key appointments include a new Managing Director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a Director-General for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).

The President emphasized that the role of board chairpersons is non-executive and urged appointees to refrain from interfering in the management of their respective organizations. According to the statement, all appointments take immediate effect.
