The Sacred Aziza Forest Gathering: PAP Boss, Chief Otuaro Ph.D Joins High Chief Tompolo with Other Top Notch Dignitaries
High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), made a noteworthy visit to the Father Igologolo Temple in Saimuzu-Ama, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, on Wednesday, September 12, 2024. He participated in a potent spiritual ceremony alongside High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, CEO of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.
This year’s gathering in the sacred Aziza Forest underscored the value of cultural preservation and the rich spiritual heritage of the Ijaw people. Proudly embracing tradition, High Chief Otuaro urged everyone to honour their cultural roots, emphasising that genuine progress begins with an appreciation and respect for one’s past. His attendance highlighted the deep ties the Ijaw people maintain with their traditional way of life.
During the event, the Amnesty Administrator took time to pray for Nigeria’s peace and unity, particularly for the Niger Delta region. He reassured the locals of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to his Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that the development and welfare of the Niger Delta remain top priorities for the current administration.
This assembly of leaders, dedicated to preserving Ijaw traditions while addressing the challenges facing their people, marked a significant cultural and spiritual moment.
