Tantita Security Services Rebuilds Army Barracks Apartments in Ondo, Boosts Troops’ Welfare

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has undertaken a comprehensive reconstruction of residential apartments at the Nigerian Army’s 19 Battalion, Naqoura Barracks, in Okitipupa, aimed at improving the welfare and living standards of serving personnel.

The intervention covers major structural rehabilitation, reinforced building works, upgraded roofing systems, and the installation of modern sanitary facilities. The project also includes improved electrical fittings, enhanced ventilation, and other general infrastructural upgrades designed to ensure durability, functionality, and comfort. When completed, the renovated apartments are expected to provide a more dignified and conducive living environment for officers and soldiers stationed at the barracks.

Speaking on the initiative, the management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited said the project aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting institutions that play vital roles in national security, beyond its primary security operations.

According to the company, investing in improved accommodation for military personnel is a practical way of recognizing the sacrifices made by members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and contributing to their overall well-being, as well as to the host communities where the company operates.

The reconstruction work is being carried out under the close supervision of Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja, who oversees Tantita’s operations in Ondo State. He noted that the project reflects the company’s resolve to give back to society while strengthening cooperation between Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, host communities, and security institutions.

Chief Asonja emphasized that the initiative underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable development, peace, and collaborative partnerships that positively impact lives and institutions across Ondo State and the country at large.

With finishing works ongoing, the project is expected to be completed and formally handed over in the coming days. Stakeholders within the Naqoura Barracks and the Okitipupa community have commended the initiative, describing it as timely, impactful, and a clear demonstration of responsible corporate citizenship.
