Captain Warredi Enisuoh, Executive Director of Technical and Operations at Tantita Security Services Limited, has reaffirmed the company’s dedication to fighting crude oil theft, boosting oil production in Nigeria, and enhancing the livelihoods of local communities.

Speaking at the Ist PAN-IJAW Economic Summit 2024 in Yenagoa, he emphasized that securing Nigeria’s public infrastructure and oil reserves is crucial for benefiting both the people and the nation. He highlighted the potential of carbon capture, noting that the presence of trees in these areas can absorb CO2, provided the environment is not further polluted.

He explained that thriving trees could generate income for companies globally, as many are eager to partner with regions focused on green development, which fosters industrial growth without increasing carbon emissions or worsening global warming, while also improving the health and well-being of local residents.

Engr. Sunny Dressman, Chairman of RGP Microfinance Bank, praised Tantita Security Services for their impactful work in the community and their efforts to enhance local living conditions.

Captain Enisuoh advocated for the establishment of carbon streaming to create additional income for communities in the Niger Delta, emphasizing that social and economic issues are intertwined with security challenges. He stated, “We aim to promote how carbon streaming, carbon credits, and carbon capture can generate significant revenue for communities, allowing them to shift their focus from damaging crude oil pipelines that harm the environment and reduce life expectancy.”

He assured that Tantita Security Services will continue to combat illegal bunkering with a comprehensive strategy that not only addresses the theft of crude oil but also educates and engages those involved in these activities.
