Survivor of 2014 Chibok Abduction Shares Harrowing Experience
A recent survivor of the 2014 Chibok abduction has shared her harrowing experience during her time in captivity.
Ihyi Abdul, who was rescued in June 2024, revealed that she was forced into marriages with eight different men and had three children during her time with Boko Haram.
Abdul, who is currently three months pregnant, was among 332 individuals rescued from the Sambisa Forest area. She expressed uncertainty about her future, including her ability to continue her education.
The survivor’s account highlights the traumatic experiences faced by those affected by the abduction.
