The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and former Presidential Adviser on the Niger Delta, Hon. (Dr) Kingsley Kemebradigha Kuku, were among the top dignitaries who graced the official unveiling of the Abuja offices of M.E. Loyibo & Co., a renowned law firm with roots in Niger Delta advocacy and corporate legal consultancy.

The grand ceremony, held on Monday, May 5, 2025, attracted legal luminaries, political stakeholders, and distinguished guests from across the federation. The new Abuja office signals a strategic expansion for M.E. Loyibo & Co., bolstering its commitment to providing top-tier legal services and fostering equitable access to justice for underserved communities.

Addressing the attendees, Dr. Ganduje lauded the firm’s visionary leadership and dedication to national development through the law. He emphasised the role of legal institutions in strengthening democracy and enhancing the rule of law. In his remarks, Hon. (Dr) Kuku, a key figure in the Niger Delta peace-building process, described the development as “a bridge between marginalised regions and the federal legal system,” emphasising the office’s potential for investment facilitation and redress for oil-bearing communities.

A highlight of the event was the cordial interaction between Ganduje and Kuku, which observers interpreted as a sign of growing cross-party dialogue and cooperation toward national cohesion.

His Royal Majesty, Justice F.F. Tabai, JSC (Rtd.), the Pere of the Ancient Tuomo Kingdom, chaired the occasion with his characteristic poise and legal gravitas. Other prominent guests included Mr. Kemasuode Wodu, SAN; Barr. Wilson Ajuwa; and Senator Ned Nwoko, all of whom applauded the firm’s vision and expanding influence.

The ceremony culminated in a guided tour of the firm’s state-of-the-art facilities, followed by a sumptuous lunch reception hosted by Nigeria’s longest-serving legislator, Rt. Hon. Nicholas E. Mutu, at his palatial residence in Guzape, Abuja.

The event was widely hailed as a milestone in strengthening the synergy between law, politics, and regional development.
