Rivers State Seeks Collaboration with Burna Boy
Globally renowned music star Burna Boy on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his Afro-fusion sound, which blends Afrobeats, dancehall, and reggae.
The artiste, widely recognised on the global stage and often referred to as the “African Giant,” continues to play a significant role in promoting African music and culture internationally.
The visit is understood to be in line with a partnership between the artiste and the Rivers State Government aimed at advancing development initiatives in his community.
