Rewarding Excellence: Alfred Izon-ebi Receives Most Outstanding Artist Award
Dr. Alfred Izon-ebi, popularly known as Alfred Jking, has been honoured with the prestigious Owigiri Artist of the Year 2024 award by Alaligo Educational Consult in collaboration with the Royal Business College, United Kingdom.
The award ceremony, held recently in Port Harcourt, was organised to recognise and celebrate exceptional talents in various fields. Dr. Izon-ebi’s remarkable contributions to the Owigiri music genre earned him the spotlight, with the organisers citing his “enthusiasm, dedication, passion, innovation, and consistency in line with international standards” as key factors for his selection.
According to the institution, “We have been following Alfred Jking’s social media page for years, and he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to promoting Ijaw music on a global scale, thus deserving our recognition.”
The award was received on behalf of the artist by Hon. Paul Ebikeseiyet, President of Alfred Jking Online Promoters Worldwide, during the ceremony in Port Harcourt.
In a celebratory gesture, Hon. Paul later presented the award and an accompanying medal to Dr. Izon-ebi at his residence earlier today.
