PRESS STATEMENT: Historic Day Ahead As Eseimokumo Ogonikara I to be Installed as Pere of Tubutoru
The Tubutoru Traditional Council has announced that the Ondo State Government will present the Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty, Eseimokumo Ogonikara I, on December 22nd, 2025 marking his installation as the paramount traditional ruler of Tubutoru Kingdom.
The council has invited the public to a two-day celebration, including traditional rites on December 21st and the official presentation on December 22nd, 2025.

The Tubutoru Traditional Council hereby formally announces to the general public that the Ondo State Government has fixed Monday, 22nd December, for the official presentation of the Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty, Eseimokumo Ogonikara I, Oguruyeke Okrimini, the Mighty Diamond, Pere of Tubutoru Kingdom.
This historic and highly significant event marks the formal recognition and installation of His Royal Majesty as the paramount traditional ruler of Tubutoru Kingdom.
In preparation for this grand occasion, members of the public, well-wishers, traditional rulers, political leaders, and friends of the kingdom are hereby invited to be part of the two-day celebration, scheduled as follows:
• Sunday, 21st December – Traditional rites and the Sacrificing of the Rams at the Furupagha Egbesu Temple in Tubutoru Kingdom.
• Monday, 22nd December – Official Presentation of the Staff/Instrument of Office to His Royal Majesty, Oguruyeke by the Executive Governor of Ondo State.
The Tubutoru Traditional Council warmly invites everyone to witness and partake in these historic ceremonies as Tubutoru Kingdom celebrates a new chapter of traditional leadership, unity, peace, and development.
